The prices I charge are on a par with other lactation consultants with similar levels of knowledge and experience.
Charges include mileage and free telephone/email follow up. You can also access me free face to face for follow up through my free drop in clinics and groups in Ely, Milton and Bury St Edmunds. Please note that I will only travel up to 30 miles from my home just north of Ely. Families living outside of this area will need to travel to see me in one of my clinics.
Due to the current high demand for appointments and the large area I cover I am currently requesting clients attend a clinic if at all possible to avoid unnecessary delays in support and treatment and to ensure I do not have to turn families away. Home visits will always be considered within a 30 mile travelling distance of Ely whenever it is possible for me to fit them in.
Late Cancellation/failure to attend fees: Unfortunately a small number of clients have continued to cancel appointments at short notice which means that appointments are wasted and other families who could have had those appointments have to wait longer. There is a charge of £20 on all appointments which are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or where a client fails to attend.

Parents have told me they wish they had had more information on breastfeeding prior to the birth. This workshop for expectant parents covers the impact of feeding method on the health of mother and baby, how breastfeeding works and how to do it (correct positioning and attachment), what to expect when breastfeeding, where to get support, the role of fathers, expressing and myths and concerns about breastfeeding.
The workshop is taught individually in your own home as a one hour session for £60.
