Holistic Sleep workshop for newborns (0-6 months)

This workshop is for expectant and new parents. Lack of sleep is a common concern amongst new parents as newborns don’t sleep for long periods and some struggle to settle to sleep. There are biological, developmental and cultural reasons for this. This workshop will help you to understand newborn sleep biology and patterns and identify any factors which may be impacting positively or negatively on your baby’s sleep. You will be supported in discovering ways in which you can adapt to meet the needs of your newborn at night. We will also explore sleep hygiene and how improving this can help improve sleep for all the family and look at gentle, developmentally appropriate strategies to help facilitate better sleep for your newborn. This workshop does not promote sleep training or advocate interventions involving crying.

Workshops are offered at The Self Centre, 4 Kempson Way, Bury St Edmunds, IP32 7 AR and at Queen Adelaide Village Hill, Ely Road, Queen Adelaide, Ely, CB7 4TZ.
